What it does
- WPS: standard, process, position, thickness, material, consumables, shielding gas, preheat; Draft → Approved → Withdrawn; a new revision instead of direct editing.
- Welder qualifications (WPQ): range, expiry, 6-month continuity; many-to-many WPS ↔ welder authorisation, revocable.
