A.4 Departments, function modules and permissions

What it does

• Switch each function module on or off (model upload, BOM, 3D, welds, cutting plans, material requisition, container loading, production reports, labels, client sharing…).
• Default departments: Board of Directors, Sales, Project Management, Engineering – Design, Production, QA/QC, Materials – Purchasing, Warehouse – Logistics; each department has – / View / Edit rights for every module.
• Individual user permissions take precedence over the department; the Effective column shows the actual rights.
• Permissions are checked on the server for every page and every action, not merely by hiding buttons in the interface.
