F.6 Component groups and workflows per group

Each component type follows its own route through the workshop (built-up, hot-rolled sections, bent angles, purlins, bought-in…). The system proposes groups from the IFC; the planner confirms them and applies the group-specific workflow + QC.

What it does

  • Proposals come with a reason (e.g. “web plate + 2 flanges”, “L section”, “C/Z purlin”); edit row by row or assign in bulk.
  • Default workflows for 8 groups, each with its own QC steps (VT, sampled NDT, built-up dimensions, punched holes…); a Label check & release for shipment step in every group.
  • Production board split by group, with the cutting area at the bottom of the board.
