Smart Erection statuses and responsibilities

The statuses of a component on site, from Not delivered to Accepted, who may set each of them, and what “Ready for erection” takes into account.

Status groups

The component register colours every component by status, from Not delivered through delivered, ready, in progress and installed to Accepted, with On hold for components blocked by an NCR or an unapproved drawing (DRAWING HOLD).

Who sets what

Ready for erection

A step is ready when its components are delivered, their drawings are approved, there is no open NCR and the previous steps are complete. It considers materials, drawings and quality only – not safety, which remains the responsibility of the site team and the method statement.
