Run QC hold points and raise an NCR

   Step 1

   Open the inspection queue

   Go to Production · QA/QC → Inspection queue. Components waiting at a hold point are listed by priority.

   Step 2

   Record the inspection

   Open a component, follow the inspection step (required / sampling %, hold / witness / review), enter measurements and attach photos.

3. 3
   Step 3

   Pass or fail

   Click Pass to release the component to the next stage, or Fail to send it back for rework.

   Tip Segregation of duties: whoever reported production cannot approve QC.

   Step 4

   Raise an NCR

   For a non-conformity, click Raise NCR, describe the defect, root cause and disposition. The component is put on hold until the NCR is closed.
